About the restaurant
Housed in a hotel overlooking the port of Carry-le-Rouet, this restaurant boasts stunning panoramic views of the sea and the Frioul archipelago. Beyond an enamelled lava stone bar, diners drop anchor in a venue that sports an uncluttered maritime slant. Youthful Ilane Tinchant, after stints at Villa Madie and with Sylvestre Wahid, deploys his talent and maturity at the service of a 6- or 8-course set menu overflowing in delicate seafood and veggie notes: textures of cuttlefish, served confit in its ink, tempura with a "cloud of garlic"; grilled John Dory, sea grape and a jus infused in fig leaf… Whether it be the food or the view from the terrace, the sea is everywhere.
